- CSGOEmpire coin ≈ US$0.6142 historically; CSGORoll coin ≈ US$0.66. Rates vary, check the site.
- At about 1.38 CA$ per US$, one Empire coin is roughly CA$0.85 and one Roll coin about CA$0.91.
- The converter shows the nominal value only. Real cash-out is lower after fees and spreads.
How to use the converter
Select the site (CSGOEmpire or CSGORoll), type a coin amount and, if you like, adjust the USD/CAD exchange rate. The tool multiplies coins by the approximate coin rate in US$, then by the exchange rate to give a CA$ value. You can also reverse the calculation, entering a CA$ amount to see how many coins that is. Because rates change, treat the output as an estimate for planning, not as a quote.
The formula
CA$ value = coins × coin rate (US$) × USD/CAD
With an Empire coin at about US$0.6142 and USD/CAD at 1.38, one coin is worth 0.6142 × 1.38 ≈ CA$0.848. A CSGORoll coin at US$0.66 gives 0.66 × 1.38 ≈ CA$0.911. The coin rates are approximations; the sites can adjust them, and sale or purchase prices of items in coins may include their own spreads.
Example conversions
| Coins | CSGOEmpire (≈CA$0.85) | CSGORoll (≈CA$0.91) |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | CA$8.50 | CA$9.10 |
| 100 | CA$85 | CA$91 |
| 500 | CA$424 | CA$455 |
| 1,000 | CA$848 | CA$911 |
| 2,050 | CA$1,738 | CA$1,867 |
| 10,000 | CA$8,476 | CA$9,108 |
The 2,050 row is relevant because CSGOEmpire's Free Case with code case2go can pay up to 2,050 coins. That is a maximum, not an average; most Free Case prizes are a small fraction of the top prize. Find the current offer on the CSGOEmpire promo code page, and see CSGORoll's offer on its promo page.
Why the number on the screen is not your cash-out
A coin balance is not a CA$ balance. To get money into a Canadian bank account you typically pass through several steps, each with a cost:
- Coin to skin or crypto. Withdrawing skins means paying the site's skin price, which may be above market.
- Skin to cash. Selling on Steam costs 15% and pays in wallet credit, not cash. Use the Steam fee calculator to see the net. Third-party buyers pay less than market price in exchange for speed.
- Crypto to CA$. Moving crypto to a FINTRAC-registered exchange and selling for CA$ incurs network and trading fees, and may be reportable for tax. See CS2 gambling taxes in Canada.
- Interac e-Transfer or bank deposit. Your exchange may support withdrawals to RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO or CIBC accounts with limits and holds.
A realistic all-in cash-out can be 5% to 20% below the nominal CA$ value, depending on route and timing. Our walkthrough how to withdraw to CA$ compares routes.
Worked example
You hold 1,000 Empire coins, nominally CA$848. You withdraw skins priced at that value and sell via a third-party buyer paying 85% of market: CA$720. Convert to crypto and then to CA$ with 1% in fees: roughly CA$713. That is about 84% of the nominal value.
Tips
- Check the coin rate on the site before depositing. Rates can change.
- Update the USD/CAD input to the day's rate; a move from 1.38 to 1.34 changes CA$ value by about 3%.
- Think in CA$ when setting a bankroll; the bankroll calculator helps.

Frequently asked questions
How much is one CSGOEmpire coin worth in CA$?
Historically about US$0.6142 per coin, which is roughly CA$0.85 at 1.38 CAD per USD. Rates vary, so check the site.
How much is a CSGORoll coin worth?
Approximately US$0.66 per coin, or around CA$0.91 at 1.38 CAD per USD. Check the site for the current rate.
Can I withdraw coins directly as CA$?
Not usually. Coins are typically withdrawn as skins or crypto, then sold or converted, with fees and spreads at each step.
Why does the USD/CAD rate matter?
Coin values are anchored to US dollars, so a change in the exchange rate changes the CA$ value even if the coin rate is unchanged.
Is the converter exact?
No. It gives an estimate based on approximate rates. Always confirm values on the site before depositing or withdrawing.
