The CS2 skin economy, explained for Canadians

Every CS2 skin has a rarity (Mil-Spec, Restricted, Classified, Covert, plus "rare special items" — knives and gloves), an exterior defined by its float value, and sometimes a pattern, StatTrak counter or stickers that change its price. On gambling sites, skins are your chips: you deposit them at the site's valuation, play, and withdraw skins (or crypto) back. Knowing what your items are worth in CA$ is the first step to not being short-changed.

Steam prices are shown in CAD for Canadian accounts, but most gambling sites value items in USD-based coins. Use the coins to CAD converter and remember the 15% Steam Market fee when you compare prices.
